... as opposed to extrusions, which are similar, but which encompass those occassions when you have to force yourself out of the house.
An extrusion is also much preferrable to the reverse, an intrusion - the name given to a group of cockroaches.
I met a man on the train who claimed some chocolate bars were 11 percent cockroach. After all, you never know what's been crawling around in the pipes when you switch the chocolate machines on in the morning.
I went to a chocolate factory recently. They had free chocolate. It was rubbish, but free. So by the law of scrounge it must actually have been excellent.
